EduCompli Intelligence (“EduCompli,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting the privacy and security of personal information entrusted to us by K-12 schools, schools, districts, institutions of higher education, and state education agencies. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you access our website or use our cloud-based services (collectively, the “Services”).

  • Visitors to our public website
  • Authorized users of the EduCompli Intelligence platform
  • Personal information provided by or on behalf of K-12 educational institutions, institutions of higher education, or state educational agencies.

This Policy does not override any data protection terms in a separately executed Software License Agreement or Data Processing Addendum (“DPA”), which will control in the event of a conflict.

  • Account credentials and authentication data
  • Educator credential, licensure, certification, and employment information

2.2 Student Information

EduCompli does not knowingly collect student personal information directly from students.

Any student data uploaded is provided by educational institutions and is handled in accordance with FERPA and applicable state laws.

2.3 Website Usage Information

When you visit our website, we may automatically collect:

  • IP address and browser type
  • Pages viewed and referring URLs
  • Date/time of access

This data is used for security, analytics, and site functionality.

We use collected information solely to:

All vendors are contractually required to protect data and use it solely for permitted purposes.

Upon contract termination, customer data may be returned or deleted consistent with contractual terms.

  • Request correction of inaccurate data through their organization

Requests related to student data must be directed to the educational institution, not EduCompli.

9. Children’s Privacy

EduCompli does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If we learn that such data was collected improperly, we will promptly delete it.

Our website may use limited cookies or similar technologies to:

  • Maintain session functionality
  • Understand site usage trends
